I have been quilting since 1999 and have decided to keep an online journal of my quilts. In this way, I can document their history and preserve their memory for my family and future generations. Most of my quilts are made as gifts; and with few exceptions, I have taken pictures of my quilts with their recipient. I have also made many charity quilts for Project Linus, Wrapped in Hope and Quilts for Kids.

Please join me for my quilt parade!

My Quilts #229-#231: Wrapped in Love 2015

Isaiah and His H-Block Quilt

Israel and His H-Block Quilt

Nathan and His Warm Wishes Quilt

These little guys are my BFF Vivian’s grandsons, and all three celebrate their birthdays in October.  Another last-minute invitation prompted me to grab 3 of the unfinished tops, which made it possible for me to complete their quilts in time for their party.

The two quilts are from the Ursula Reikes book “Even More Quilts for Baby” and use the H-Block pattern.  The third quilt is the ever-popular Warm Wishes pattern.

I was thrilled to see the smile on their faces, and mom was so touched she had tears in her eyes.  And that’s why I quilt!
