I have been quilting since 1999 and have decided to keep an online journal of my quilts. In this way, I can document their history and preserve their memory for my family and future generations. Most of my quilts are made as gifts; and with few exceptions, I have taken pictures of my quilts with their recipient. I have also made many charity quilts for Project Linus, Wrapped in Hope and Quilts for Kids.

Please join me for my quilt parade!

My Quilts #261-#263: Scrappy Mini Heart Quilts 2021

I made these three scrappy heart mini quilts for my granddaughters.  They are quilted, bound, with a label, and on their way to Georgia, Tennesse and Kentucky.  My first finished quilts for 2021!

Each one measures 26" square with four heart blocks, and each has a different backing and I used batting scraps.

I quilted each in a grid with straight stitch-in-the-ditch and I outlined each heart.

My DGD Katie in Kentucky sent me this picture of her mini heart quilt hanging on her "special" wall.  I sure do miss her!
