I have been quilting since 1999 and have decided to keep an online journal of my quilts. In this way, I can document their history and preserve their memory for my family and future generations. Most of my quilts are made as gifts; and with few exceptions, I have taken pictures of my quilts with their recipient. I have also made many charity quilts for Project Linus, Wrapped in Hope and Quilts for Kids.

Please join me for my quilt parade!

My Quilts #94 - #95 ~ Olivia’s and Lani’s Quilts 2005

Two more kid-size quilt tops that I made as stash busters in early 2005; and finished quilting & binding in November 2005.  I also took these to Texas when my auntie Patty passed away just before the Thanksgiving holiday.  See my previous post here.

This is a Jewel Box quilt made from 5-inch squares using bright, kids fabrics.  I gave this quilt to 1-year-old Olivia, my third cousin, and daughter of Mark Alvillar, who is the son of my first cousin Gloria, and my Aunt Patty’s daughter.
