I have been quilting since 1999 and have decided to keep an online journal of my quilts. In this way, I can document their history and preserve their memory for my family and future generations. Most of my quilts are made as gifts; and with few exceptions, I have taken pictures of my quilts with their recipient. I have also made many charity quilts for Project Linus, Wrapped in Hope and Quilts for Kids.

Please join me for my quilt parade!

My Quilt #209 ~ Road to Spring Quilt 2010

DSC01047I started this quilt in February when I joined the Road to Spring quilt-along with Randi at her blog i have to say; and FINALLY finished it in March.

I just love these fabric collections from Maywood Studio and from South Sea Imports designed by Robyn Pandolph.  The prints really do say SPRING!

The quilt top was fast and easy, especially since I used my handy-dandy Shape Cut from June Tailor.  I machine quilted it with an all over swirly design and tacked down the binding by hand. The quilt measures 48 x 56 inches.

Gifted to my friend Lori for her birthday in August.
